About the Role:
The Room Attendant plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of guest rooms and common areas at Tolovana Inn. This position ensures that all rooms meet the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort, contributing to an exceptional guest experience. The Room Attendant will be responsible for preparing rooms for new guests and ensuring that all amenities are stocked and in good condition. Attention to detail is paramount, as the role directly impacts guest satisfaction and the reputation of the establishment. Ultimately, the Room Attendant helps create a welcoming and pleasant environment that encourages guests to return.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in a hotel or resort setting.
- Knowledge of cleaning products and techniques.
- Basic understanding of safety and sanitation regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms.
- Restock room supplies such as towels, toiletries, and linens to ensure guest comfort.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department promptly.
- Assist in the cleaning of common areas, including lobbies, hallways, and recreational facilities.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests and inquiries in a friendly and efficient manner.
Skills:
The required skills for this position include strong attention to detail, which is essential for ensuring that every room meets cleanliness standards. Time management skills are crucial, as Room Attendants must efficiently complete their tasks within a set timeframe to prepare for incoming guests. Communication skills are also important, as the Room Attendant will interact with guests and other staff members regularly. Preferred skills, such as knowledge of cleaning products, enhance the ability to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
