Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with children with behavioral health challenges, implementing treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed professional. Your contributions will be vital in helping clients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life through evidence-based practices.

Duties

• Implement individualized treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
• Conduct patient assessments to monitor progress and adapt strategies as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collect research data to support ongoing evaluations and program effectiveness.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including special education professionals, to ensure comprehensive care.
• Engage with clients in a supportive manner to foster positive behavioral changes.
• Assist in the development of diagnostic evaluations and treatment recommendations.

Experience

• Previous experience in behavioral health settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical documentation processes and patient assessment techniques is essential.
• Experience working with children or individuals with special needs is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of research data collection methods related to behavioral health is a plus.
• Understanding of special education frameworks and strategies is beneficial.
• A background in Applied Behavior Analysis or related fields will enhance your candidacy.
