Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate FPS Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health counseling, with a focus on providing support to individuals in the home and other various settings, This role involves working with diverse populations in their home , including children and adolescents, and requires a commitment to fostering positive environment through effective counseling techniques.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in home services
- Perform Family assessment to assess clients' needs and develop tailored goals .
- Provide case management services, ensuring clients receive appropriate resources and support.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including child welfare, healthcare professionals and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Implement problem resolution strategies to assist clients in achieving their goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and interventions goals in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Engage in continuous professional development through training and supervision, staying updated on best practices in counseling.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Experience in counseling.
- Knowledge of counseling techniques.
- Strong skills in case management and behavior management strategies
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality standards in all client interactions.

Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $21.04 - $22.27 per hour
Expected hours: 21.00 per week
