UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital & The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine currently employ more than 200 psychiatrists and manage more than 500 psychiatric beds across the network. A Department of Psychiatry, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine faculty appointment commensurate with experience. - Psychosomatic Medicine (including Oncology)
- Chronic Mental Illness, including ACT Teams
- Emergency Psychiatry, including our community crisis clinic, our hospital-based psychiatric emergency room, and telepsychiatry to medical ERs
- Integrated Clinics (Pediatric, Geriatric, and PCP practices)
- Interventional Psychiatry (ECT, TMS, Ketamine)
