Overview
Located in Easley, SC, Elevate Audiology is an independent private practice providing patients with the knowledge and individualized care to fulfill their hearing healthcare needs. They are looking for a committed, dependable, and customer-oriented Front Office/Patient Care Coordinator to join their team.

As the first point of contact with patients, the Front Office Coordinator's responsibilities include obtaining information via phone, text, fax, email and in-person, discussing insurance, scheduling appointments, maintaining the patient database appropriately, managing leads, and performing other administrative and organizational duties in the office.

Qualified candidates demonstrate the ability to maintain a positive relationship with the patients and and their families as well as the staff and manage and anticipate workload without compromising patient care quality or attention to detail.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, highly reliable, arrives of time, uses resources, detail-oriented, a professional demeanor, and a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.

Duties Include:

Patient Experience & Front Desk Operations

  • Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out processes with detail.
  • Answer calls, schedule appointments, and provide patient reminders and follow-ups.
  • Inform patients and caregivers about appointment costs, insurance expectations, billing, and financial policies.
  • Maintain a clean, welcoming office environment, including restocking supplies and organizing common areas.
  • Schedule appointments, track patient progress, and document care activities.

Administrative & Office Management

  • Open the office on time, ensure readiness, and maintain daily operations.
  • Update patient records, input data into EMR systems, and manage electronic medical records.
  • Process and outreach to leads and referrals.
  • Sort daily mail, scan and save documents, and track referral sources.
  • Prepare reports and track marketing responses.
  • Process sales, handle invoices, and record payments.

Insurance, Billing & Compliance

  • Provide estimates and costs associated with care to prospective patients
  • File insurance claims and process billing/coding documentation.
  • Review and obtain signatures for ABNs, Good Faith Estimates, and non-coverage notices.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all patient and business information.

Marketing & Community Outreach

  • Engage in marketing and social media strategies
  • Track patient referral sources and responses to advertisements.
  • Assist in creating and modifying marketing materials and company forms.

General Office Duties & Miscellaneous

  • Perform office maintenance, including cleaning, organizing, and disinfecting.
  • Occasionally run errands (e.g., FedEx drop-offs, post office visits, lunch pickups).
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and consistently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
  • Kind, patient, and motivated personality and strong work ethic.
  • Proficiency in office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) is essential.
  • A compassionate demeanor with a focus on providing high-quality patient care.
