ChildFirst Behavior Therapy (CFBT) is looking for dedicated and compassionate individuals to provide center-based ABA therapy in the Arlington Heights, IL area. A full-time position is available now for 35-40 hours per week. RBTs or BCATs, please apply! If you do not already have a certification, we are willing to provide access to training and resources.

Job Duties
- Maintain RBT or BCAT credentials in a timely fashion
- Provide direct behavioral services to clients in individual sessions
- Run skill acquisition programs with clients using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Complete daily data collection, daily progress notes, etc.
- Maintain respect and confidentiality for all clients
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending professional development activities
- Maintain and protect the well-being of all clients during treatment sessions and when emergency crisis situations arise
- Assist in gathering materials for ABA sessions
Position details
- Hourly rate of $20-25, dependent on experience, that includes all hours when providing therapy.
- Must be available 8:30-4:30pm Monday through Friday
- Supervision hours available
Qualifications
- Registered Behavior Technician or Board Certified Autism Technician certification preferred
- Prefer 2 years experience working with individuals with ASD or other behavioral disorders
Skills, Abilities and Knowledge
- Appropriate, safe, and ethical behavior interventions
- Objectively analyze and respond quickly to crisis situations
- Effectively communicate with clients, families, case supervisors and other staff
- Learning theories and instructional methods
- Work independently and make decisions within the framework of CFBT's established guidelines within the policy and procedures manual.
- Follow guidance from senior level staff to enhance own professional development
- Work with a diverse team of professionals in a respectful manner
Other Requirements
- Successful completion of a criminal background check
- CPR/BLS Certification
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Good mobility (able to physically keep up with active kids)
- Reliable transportation
