Colonial Behavioral Health provides opportunities for recovery to individuals and their family members in the areas of mental illness, substance use disorder, and developmental disabilities. Colonial Behavioral Health serves the citizens of James City County, City of Poquoson, City of Williamsburg, and York County.
We are currently recruiting for a Clinician V position within our Child and Adolescent (C&A) Services program. This position provides direct therapeutic interventions to individuals, families, and groups with co-occurring substance use disorders and mental health or developmental disability issues. A significant component of this position involves triage services: assessment, documentation, care coordination, brief therapy and supportive counseling. Position will provide clinical supervision of C&A outpatient clinical staff, review caseloads, ensure that documentation requirements meet licensing regulations, insurance guidelines, including Medicaid and other regulatory requirements.
Job Duties
- Individual, family, and group counseling and psychotherapy with children, adolescents and their families.
- Assessment, evaluation, diagnosis and service planning of the co-occurring population.
- Development of recovery oriented and strength-based service plans with measurable objectives.
- Triage services and appropriate referrals as needed
- Case management to coordinate services, including discharge planning
- Crisis stabilization
- Participation on various staff and interagency committees
- Performs related duties as required, including delegated coordination and supervision in the absence of the coordinator.
- Provide outcomes measures by completing ORS/SRS
- Assists Coordinator with the preparation and monitoring of the program budget; to include determining and managing revenue generation, personnel expenditures and program operational costs.
- Position may be required to work remotely as needed to meet agency business needs
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Assists the OP Manager with duties as necessary including facilitating bi-monthly internal OP meetings
- Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) providing weekly clinical supervision to clinicians working towards licensure.
Work Schedule
Monday - Friday (Standard Business Hours)
Qualifications (EEO)
LSATP, LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LCP. Professional license granted by the Commonwealth of Virginia, Department of Health Professions. Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) Training preferred or two years post licensure and eligible for enrollment in ACS Training required within 90 days.
