Details and Requirements:
- Full-time: 37.5 hours per week
- Monday through Friday
- On-site position
- Must be a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), certified through the BACB
- Caseload: K-12
Job Description:
- Observe, collect, and analyze student data
- Consult with classroom teachers, school administration, RS providers, and families for students on the caseload, focusing on areas such as decreasing maladaptive behaviors, shaping appropriate behaviors, and supporting skill acquisition by offering strategies to the team
- Collaborate as part of a school-based crisis team to assist students experiencing more significant behavioral challenges (e.g., elopement, aggression, etc.)
- Develop behavior and treatment plans for students, with an emphasis on antecedent strategies to reduce problematic behaviors
- Supervise and provide guidance on behavior plan/treatment plan training for field staff, offering support as needed
- Maintain ongoing communication with parents, teachers, and other support staff
- Maintain accurate data, paperwork, and communication between personal care staff and families
- Caseloads mostly consist of students on the Autism Spectrum, though there may also be other special education and occasionally general education students with BCBA consultation on their IEPs
