Position Overview:

We are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to deliver compassionate, evidence-based mental health care. This role includes conducting psychiatric evaluations, prescribing and managing medications, and working as part of a multidisciplinary team to support behavioral health integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose psychiatric conditions and prescribe/manage medications, including MAT
• Conduct evaluations, health monitoring, and crisis interventions
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, behavioral health staff, and medical teams
• Ensure smooth care transitions and follow-ups with external providers
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to professional standards
• Participate in case conferences and care planning

Qualifications:

• MUST HAVE 2 YEARS OF APN EXPERIENCE
• NYS-licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
• Experience in outpatient mental health, addiction, or community health settings preferred
• Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills
• Commitment to working with diverse and vulnerable populations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $145,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
