Summary

We are seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential mental health counseling services to patients involved in clinical trials, contributing to their overall well-being and supporting our mission of advancing medical research.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions to patients participating in clinical trials.
• Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess patient needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Manage case files and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with regulations.
• Offer support for chronic pain management and address gender issues in counseling as needed.
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance counseling skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• Valid state license as a Professional Counselor (LPC).
• Experience in mental health counseling, particularly within clinical settings.
• Strong diagnostic evaluation skills and familiarity with case management practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
