About Job

RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for conducting psychiatric assessments; assessing physical health needs; making appropriate referrals to community physicians; providing management and administration of medication in conjunction with the psychiatrist/nurse practitioner; providing a wide range of treatment, rehabilitation, and support services; sharing shift-management responsibilities with other staff; provides direct case management services to individuals, conducts medication education, and performs necessary documentation; assists individuals with weekly medication bag/box fills; delivers medications to the homes of individuals per morning/evening medication runs on a rotation basis; participates in on-call rotation; performs TB screening risk assessments for Agency staff.

REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Requirements

M1:  Completion of educational requirements for Registered Nurse with a valid RN license to practice in VA

M2:  Valid drivers’ license and safe driving record
M3:  At least one year of experience providing services to individuals with serious mental illness

Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry (CANIS) report will be required upon request.  Our Agency maintains a drug-free workplace.

ANNUAL SALARY RANGE
$55,883 - $97,795

$5,000 Sign on Bonus
