As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you play an essential role in helping students develop the behavioral, social, emotional, and communication skills needed to succeed in the classroom and beyond. Through evidence-based interventions, collaboration with educators and families, and individualized behavior support planning, you help students overcome challenges, increase independence, and build confidence that positively impacts their educational experience and daily lives.
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join a school-based team in Jacksonville, Florida. The BCBA will work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students with behavioral and developmental needs across a K-12 educational setting.
Minimum Requirements
Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) required- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field from an accredited institution
- Florida behavior analyst licensure or eligibility for licensure preferred, in accordance with state requirements
- Completion of supervised fieldwork and successful completion of the BCBA examination
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong collaboration, communication, and behavior intervention planning skills
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Provide direct and consultative behavioral support services to students and school staff
- Monitor student progress and analyze behavioral data to adjust intervention strategies as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support positive behavioral outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and staff training activities
