We are seeking experienced and highly collaborative Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) for the 2026–2027 school year. This role is ideal for BCBAs with a strong educational background who are passionate about supporting students, teachers, and school leadership teams within a school-based setting.
The BCBA will provide behavioral consultation, conduct assessments, analyze behavioral data, and support the implementation of effective intervention strategies across assigned campuses. Candidates should be comfortable partnering closely with principals, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to improve student outcomes and classroom success.
BCBAs will typically support 2 school sites, with no more than 3 assigned campuses.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
- Develop and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral and student performance data
- Provide consultation and support to principals, teachers, and school staff
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and administrators
- Support classroom management strategies and positive behavioral supports
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide behavioral recommendations
- Train school staff on behavior strategies, data collection, and ABA principles
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
Qualifications
- Active BCBA Maryland certification required
- Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or related field
- Strong school-based/educational experience required
- Experience supporting teachers, administrators, and campus teams
- Knowledge of special education processes and behavioral programming
- Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage caseloads across multiple school sites effectively
Preferred Experience
- 2+ years of previous experience working directly in K–12 school settings
- Experience consulting with school leadership teams and classroom staff
- Strong data collection and behavioral analysis skills
- Familiarity with district procedures, IEP processes, and MTSS/RTI frameworks
