Founded in 2010 by Isaac Archuleta, MA, LPC, iAmClinic is determined to increase the relational health of the LGBTQIA+ community, creating overall intrapersonal, relational, and spiritual health. iAmClinic provides life-affirming programs, including psychotherapy, workshops, seminars, and lectures, all designed to bring subconscious material to consciousness for the main task of liberating the LGBTQIA+ community from relational and intrapersonal blockades.
Job Description:
The Clinical Associate & Supervisor will work predominantly with individual or relational groups/couples clients. The ideal candidate is trauma informed and has a focus in ONE of the following areas: working with children/adolescents, couples/families, addictions work or facilitating neurofeedback. Clinical Associates are willing to implement iAmClinic’s treatment modality and work integratively with other iAmClinic clinicians. This clinician will also provide clinical supervision for pre-licensed, post-graduate therapists. The Clinical Associate will work closely with the Intake Specialist to determine appropriate clients, schedule and caseload.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and/or group therapy for LGBTQIA+ individuals, families or their loved ones
- Maintain client notes and billing, including completing compliant notes, billing and invoicing with clients after each session within the iAmClinic client database and billing system
- Attend monthly team meetings with other staff, which includes consultation time, training and informal opportunities to connect with staff
- Provide clinical supervision for pre-licensed clinicians who have completed their master’s degrees and are now pursuing licensure (pre-licensure LPCCs). Supervision includes face-to-face supervision and daily/weekly note review of supervised clinicians cases.
- Communicate effectively with clients, while maintaining confidentiality, and communicate any necessary information related to emergency or billing issues to iAmClinic administration as needed
- Maintaining client schedule on Simple Practice (SP)

The infrastructure provided by iAmClinic has been created to allow talented practitioners to attune to and cultivate the art of therapy while having minimal responsibilities outside of serving client needs.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal Clinical Associate & Supervisor is a creative thinker and innovative practitioner. They/she/he enjoy providing client care and take initiative to implement a treatment plan with confidence and sound judgment. They also enjoy mentorship of budding clinicians.
The Clinical Associate & Supervisor will have a passion to support the LGBTQIA+ community, the candidate will have strong clinical experience and confidence, and desire to be an ongoing social advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be graduated with a Master’s in a clinical field (counseling, mental health, social work, psychology)
- Licensed for at least 1 year in Colorado, ideal candidate has been licensed 5+ years and is comfortable working with complexity
- Speciality focus preferred, examples include working with children/adolescents OR couples/families OR trained in neurofeedback OR addictions
- Knowledge of current modalities and theoretical approaches for working with LGBTQIA+ individuals and their families
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience working within specialized area (children/adolescents, couples/families, neurofeedback, or addictions)
- Licensed in field of work (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LAC)
- Specialized training(s), for example: play therapy, EMDR, etc. relevant to areas of specialization

- Hourly pay starting at $101-103/hr depending on experience and licensure, with a raise up to $112/hour after 1 year. Supervision will account for ~6 hours a month, paid at the same contracted rate.
- Clinic covers all overhead costs and includes administrative support, including, but not limited to: all administrative software (scheduling, billing, credit card processing etc.), dedicated marketing and intake support, fully furnished office space, access to a kitchen/work room, regular consultation support, monthly group learning with a team of coworkers

- Opportunities to engage in sharing expertise with the LGBTQIA+ community through workshops, blogs, podcasts, content creation, etc.
- Expectations of clinical contract associate’s relationship to iAmClinic:
Clinical (18-20+ hours a week):
- Respond to client bookings initiated by the Intake Specialist
- Works to provide the best clinical interventions suited to the unique and individual needs of each client
- Maintains consistency in client appointments and session attendance
- Maintains an average weekly client caseload of 5-8 (or greater) clients to start, with growth to 20+ clients within a year
- Provides the highest standards of legal and ethical treatment oriented towards the client’s overall health and termination of counseling services
- Participates in ongoing trainings, readings, and awareness of research and trends specific to the LGBTQIA+ community and clinical mental health counseling as a whole
- Maintains healthy work/life balance, so as to preserve creativity and stamina, and communicates if extra support is needed for extenuating circumstances
- Exhibits enthusiasm toward partnering in the work that iAmClinic is doing
Supervision (1-2hrs/week):
- Provides monthly or biweekly supervision to pre-licensed clinician(s)
- Reviews supervisee’s notes on a weekly basis, including treatment plans, clinical documentation and provides overall treatment support
- Maintains accurate documentation of supervision notes
Administrative (1-2hrs/week):
- Maintains updated client records and note keeping in accordance to appropriate standards of care
- Manages ongoing scheduling with clients, and communication with clients through email, phone, or in person contact
- Ensures all client fees are collected and supports supervisee in managing case load and billing
- Submits timely invoices twice per month to receive commission payouts
- Complies with iAmClinic procedures for administrative and office operations
- Communicates with iAmClinic leadership and admin in a timely manner through email, phone/text, or in person methods
- Provides updated information to administration for the purpose of maintaining the contract clinical therapist biography and credentialing information on the website and other marketing materials
