Job Summary
Community Liaison — Business Development
Location: Everett, WA — field-based across Snohomish County │ Type: Full-Time │ Base Pay: $60,000–$70,000 + performance bonuses
Who We Are
Amada Senior Care Everett is a locally owned, non-medical in-home care agency serving seniors and their families across Snohomish County. We provide compassionate, personalized care — companion care, personal care, and dementia and memory care — to clients in Everett, Monroe, Snohomish, Mukilteo, Sultan, Marysville, and the surrounding communities.
We are part of the nationally recognized Amada Senior Care franchise, bringing over a decade of proven systems, clinical protocols, and training to this region. What makes us different from every other home care agency in Snohomish County is our specialty in Long-Term Care Insurance (LTCI) navigation. We help families identify, activate, and maximize their LTCI benefits — often enabling care at little or no out-of-pocket cost to the client. This is a skill set most home care agencies simply do not have, and it is a powerful door-opener with every referral source we call on.
We are a growing agency and we are looking for an experienced, relationship-driven Community Liaison to help us build our presence and our census across this county.
The Opportunity
This is a field-based, outside sales and relationship role. The majority of your time will be spent in the community — building and maintaining referral partnerships with hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, assisted living communities, physician offices, geriatric care managers, elder law attorneys, and long-term care insurance agents across Snohomish County.
You are the face of Amada Everett in the community. You will open doors, deepen relationships, conduct client assessments, and convert referral partnerships into active client starts. This role is right for someone who genuinely enjoys relationship-based selling, is comfortable asking for business, and wants to grow with an agency that rewards results.
What You Will Do
Referral Development & Community Outreach
- Conduct 10–15 in-person referral source visits per day across Snohomish County
- Build and maintain relationships with hospital discharge planners and social workers across your territory
- Develop and grow partnerships with SNF and rehab facility social workers, directors of nursing, and admissions staff
- Cultivate relationships with assisted living and memory care community directors and marketing staff
- Target long-term care insurance agents and financial advisors, positioning Amada as the home care partner they call when a client is ready to activate their LTC benefit
- Call on elder law attorneys, estate planning attorneys, and geriatric care managers who advise senior clients and families
- Represent Amada at senior expos, health fairs, community events, and professional networking groups throughout Snohomish County
- Educate referral partners on how to identify and refer LTCI-eligible clients — a conversation most agencies are not equipped to have
- Manage key referral accounts with a focus on partner satisfaction, retention, and consistent referral volume
Client Conversion & Assessments
- Conduct initial needs assessments with prospective clients and their families
- Present Amada’s services and negotiate care agreements that reflect the value of our care and the client’s coverage options
- Guide families through the onboarding process from first contact through active service start
- Collaborate with our care coordination team to ensure a smooth and seamless transition to care
Reporting & Performance
- Track and report weekly KPIs: referral visits made, new referral relationships opened, assessments conducted, and new clients started on service
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in the CRM system
- Analyze local market activity and competitor presence to identify opportunities across the county
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly growth targets set collaboratively with ownership
What We’re Looking For
Required
- 2+ years of outside sales or business development experience in home care, home health, hospice, or senior care
- Proven track record of generating referrals and converting referral relationships into client placements or admissions
- Direct experience calling on hospitals, SNFs, ALFs, rehab facilities, or physician offices in a healthcare sales capacity
- Comfortable and confident asking for business, following up consistently, and self-managing a high-volume field schedule
- Valid Washington State driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule across a large geographic territory
Preferred — Strong Plus
- Existing referral relationships with discharge planners, social workers, or senior care partners in Snohomish County
- Familiarity with long-term care insurance products, benefit activation, or claims navigation
- Clinical background (CNA, HCA, or similar) — valuable for client assessments and credibility with clinical referral sources
- Bilingual a plus (Spanish, Tagalog, or other languages spoken in Snohomish County communities)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (preferred, not required)
Compensation & Benefits
We pay for performance and we keep it simple. Here is what this role offers:
▶ Base Salary $60,000 – $70,000
▶ Vehicle Stipend $250/month for business use of your personal vehicle
▶ Performance Bonuses Up to $10,000+ annually tiered, transparent, and results-driven
▶ Total Comp Potential $74,000 – $84,000+ for a strong performer in year one
About the bonus structure:
Bonuses are tiered by client size and census growth, paid once a client is established on service. There is no minimum agency census required — your first client placement counts. Goals are set collaboratively each quarter based on where the territory is in its development. A full breakdown is provided during the interview process.
Additional Benefits
- Accrued paid vacation and paid holidays
- Business VOIP line provided for professional communications
- Marketing materials, branded leave-behinds, and business cards provided
- Direct access to and support from the agency owner on every referral and client situation
- Clear growth path: this role is designed to grow into Director of Business Development as the agency scales
