Client Care Manager: Client-Facing Sales and Post-Sales Ops & Support

We are launching a brand-new Family Matters office in the East Bay, and we are looking for a founding Client Care Manager to help us build it. This is a rare opportunity to plant a flag in your own community and define the client experience from day one, build the local referral network from the ground up, and grow into a leadership role as the office grows.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Visiting and arranging local meetings/appointments with potential referral sources to develop new business relationships and referral networks
  • Extremely high importance will be placed on generating regular streams of new business by providing exemplary customer service via consumer marketing, regularly referral marketing to the community, leading and participating in community outreach events to spread brand awareness
  • Calling on and developing new referral accounts in the local healthcare and senior care community with elder care industry professionals, organizations and establishments (ex. Geriatric Care Managers, independent/assisted/skilled living facilities, hospitals, concierge doctors, etc.)
  • Meet prospective clients and their families in-home; describe Family Matters' services, philosophy, and approach to care
  • Conduct in-home assessments and develop individualized care plans that meet each client's unique physical, social, and emotional needs
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and their families throughout the care relationship
  • Support and closely coordinate with Operations/HR for client/caregiver placements, scheduling, and other tasks

Compensation:

  • Base pay depending upon experience
  • Commission and bonuses based on growth
  • Cell phone allowance and business mileage reimbursement

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least one year of sales, marketing, business development or demonstrated relevant skills
  • A demonstrable understanding of the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs of an aging clientele
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
  • Flexibility and willingness to work an alternative work-week (evenings and weekends on-call on a regular basis)
  • Reliable in keeping appointments and other time commitments
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
  • Able to pass a Department of Justice background check
  • Bonus: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing, Sociology, Psychology, or related field
  • Bonus: home care industry or related healthcare industry experience
