We are currently seeking a dedicated and caring Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a real difference in children’s lives and values collaboration, integrity, and growth.
What You’ll Do
- Provide 1:1 direct therapy to children and individuals with developmental differences, including autism, in home or daycare setting
- Implement individualized treatment plans designed by a BCBA using evidence-based ABA principles
- Collect accurate session data to track progress and support meaningful clinical decisions
- Support the development of communication, social, play, and daily living skills
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) when appropriate, always with dignity and respect
- Maintain clear, timely, and ethical documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards
- Collaborate closely with BCBAs, families, and team members to ensure consistency and high-quality care
- Uphold Sunny Skies ABA’s commitment to ethical practice, safety, and client-centered services
- Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and professional development opportunities
What We’re Looking For
- Active RBT certification through the BACB or eligibility and willingness to obtain certification
- Experience working with children and/or individuals with developmental disabilities (ASD experience preferred)
- A solid understanding of ABA principles, data collection, and behavior-support strategies
- Strong communication skills, patience, and a genuine passion for helping others
- Ability to work collaboratively within a supportive, team-oriented environment
- Experience in special education, behavioral health, or related fields is a plus
