The School of Dental Medicine is seeking a Dental Care Coordinator. UB Dental is a vital part of the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. As a teaching facility, we offer our dental students the opportunity to work closely with patients of all ages. In addition, we are a safety net for the Buffalo-Niagara region, providing dental care for thousands of people each year throughout the community.

As a Dental Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Review patient management with student providers.
  • Oversee patient assignments, case transfers, treatment plan accuracy, and approval of conditional treatment codes.
  • Monitor student progress toward graduation by tracking RVUs, CPEs, and clinical performance reports.
  • Verify financial components of treatment plans and ensure compliance with clinic policies and procedures.
  • Address student and patient issues, including direct patient communication when required.
  • Participate and coordinate student orientation, senior check‑out, and serve on clinical committees as needed.
  • Coordinate and support faculty group directors on projects and initiatives.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by clinical leadership as needed.

Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
