Licensed Professional Counselor

Rise Above LLC is a growing private mental health practice dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to adults, couples, and families. We are seeking one part-time or full-time, fully licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team as a W-2 employee. Ideal candidates have experience and a passion for working with adult individuals and/or couples and families, and value collaboration, professionalism, and ethical clinical care.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy services to adult individuals and/or couples and families
• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions
• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Collaborate with families and other providers as clinically appropriate
• Adhere to ethical standards and all applicable New Jersey laws and professional regulations
• Participate in case consultation, supervision, or team meetings as required
• Maintain consistent weekly availability aligned with client needs
• Uphold the mission, values, and clinical standards of Rise Above LLC

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted New Jersey Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license
• Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field
• Experience providing therapy to adult individuals and/or couples and families
• Competence in evidence-based modalities (e.g., CBT, family systems, Gottman-informed interventions, trauma-informed care)
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
• Professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)

Employment Details

• Schedule: Flexible; evening availability preferred
• Compensation: Competitive, based on experience and caseload
• Location: In-person and/or telehealth (New Jersey residents only)

Pay: $60.00 - $75.00 per hour
