Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician to join our team part-time. Must be willing to work weekdays after school in the clients home. As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will work with individuals with developmental disabilities, providing support and implementing behavior plans to promote positive outcomes. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others.
Duties:
- Implement behavior plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities
- Assist with the analysis of data and progress tracking
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and modify care plans
- Utilize applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to teach new skills and reduce challenging behaviors
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
Requirements:
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to understand medical records
- Familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to analyze data and track progress
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to provide patient care in a compassionate and respectful manner
$500 bonus offered for completion of RBT certification with good employment standing . Must obtain CPR/first aide within 90 days of employment.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
