Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Therapist & Art Therapist to join our dynamic mental health team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive behavioral health services, utilizing a blend of traditional therapy techniques and creative art therapies to support individuals across diverse populations. Your expertise will help clients improve their emotional well-being, develop coping skills, and achieve personal growth. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children, adults, and seniors through innovative therapeutic approaches. All services are delivered in a supportive, outpatient setting, ensuring accessible and compassionate care for every patient.

Duties

  • Conduct individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices such as behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, motivational interviewing, and art therapy.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with each client’s needs, including those with autism, ADHD, or other dual diagnoses.
  • Utilize CPT coding to document services accurately for insurance billing and compliance with HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with team members to provide care
  • Maintain detailed medical records and documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in accordance with healthcare standards.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current on behavioral health trends, therapeutic techniques, and legal requirements related to HIPAA and other regulations.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at improving behavioral health outcomes across diverse populations including pediatrics and geriatrics.
  • Passionate about providing support to peers and supporting one another to grow
  • Take part in occasional community and outreach events (we love art, food, and healing spaces!)

Qualifications

  • Valid licensure as a Licensed Therapist (e.g., Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) in California with active and good standing
  • Certification or extensive training in art therapy from an accredited program; additional certifications in music therapy or recreational therapy are a plus.
  • Proven experience working with children, individuals with ADHD, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), PTSD, or other mental health conditions.
  • Trained in trauma-informed care, cultural humility, and inclusive practices
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage clients across age groups and backgrounds while maintaining compliance with HIPAA standards.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic patient care in private practice environments.
  • Comfortable working independently and remotely, with support from a collaborative team
  • Passionate about supporting the Asian community, especially Asian Millennials
  • Multilingual (especially Mandarin, Cantonese, Taiwanese, or another non-English language) is a plus!
  • Yoga instructor or sound bath certification is a plus!

  • Full time CEU and insurance reimbursement

Pay: $45.00 - $65.00 per hour
