Maximus is an industry leader in providing specialized assessment services, with a mission of ensuring that the individuals and populations we serve receive the appropriate care and supports necessary to promote the best quality of life.

We are partnered with the State of New York to administer PASRR (Preadmission Screening and Resident Review) assessments.

PASRR is a federal requirement designed to ensure that individuals are not inappropriately placed into nursing homes for long term care services.

We are seeking licensed mental health professionals in New York to conduct PASRR assessments on a flexible, PRN basis.

Position Details and Responsibilities:

• This is an independent contractor opportunity.
• Assessments can be accepted or declined in accordance with your schedule.
• Assessments must be completed within 48-hours from the time of acceptance.
• PASRR assessments are primarily administered in hospitals and nursing facilities. These must be completed in-person.
• Assessments will be completed within your community or surrounding communities. There is no office to report to.
• Compensation is per completed assessment.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Must meet of the following Education or Licensure Requirements: RN, LMSW, LCSW, PhD/PsyD
• Recent experience (within the past 3 years) performing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
• Must be conflict of interest free, which includes no current employment with nursing facilities.

• Albany / Capital Region — Albany County, Schenectady County, Rensselaer County, Saratoga County
• Erie County (Buffalo) — Erie County
• North Country — St. Lawrence County, Clinton County
• Staten Island — Richmond County
• Hudson Valley Region — Westchester County, Dutchess County
• Southern Tier — Broome County
• Central New York — Onondaga County, Cayuga County
• Finger Lakes — Ontario County
