Wine Counselor Part Time

Sandy's Shack the biggest independant wine & beer Store in central Florida. No Big overhead with great valuees based on common sense. We are 4 years old. We are most of the time in our store but when we are not available, we need our trustworthy gem to take place!

Duties

• Assist customers in selecting wines by providing knowledgeable recommendations based on their preferences and needs
• Conduct engaging product demonstrations to showcase new or featured wines, enhancing customer understanding and interest
• Collect customer feedback and data to improve product offerings and tailor marketing strategies
• Manage social media accounts by sharing wine tips, event updates, and engaging content to grow our online community
• Support event marketing efforts by helping organize wine tastings, educational seminars, and promotional events
• Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
• Promote our brand through effective communication skills, public speaking at events, and active participation in community outreach

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or retail sales is highly preferred to ensure confident product knowledge and customer interaction
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey information about wines and related products
• Experience with data collection (onboarding customer in the system) through our POS.
• Ability to engage audiences during tastings or promotional activities is a plus!
• Customer service experience that demonstrates patience, enthusiasm, and professionalism in a relax and convivial environnement.
• Ability to fill down time (a lot) with cleaning, dusting duty.

We are looking for motivated, trustworthy reliable individual with outstanding communication skills and a passion and/or knowledge for DRY wines (non-sweet) is a MUST!
You MUST be a "people person".

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
