Patient Care Coordinator - Meridian & Boise

Position Overview
We are looking for a full-time Patient Care Coordinator to join our amazing team in our. This individual will train and work in our Meridian and Boise location. The Patient Care Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and providing excellent customer service to our patients.
This is a Dual-Office Role:
3 Days in Meridian
2 Days in Boise
Responsibilities
- Greets patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
- Schedules appointments and follow-ups using our Electronic Medical Records system.
- Manages incoming calls, questions and emails and directs them to the appropriate staff members, as needed.
- Optimizes patient satisfaction and Doctor’s time.
- Confirms hearing aids and ear molds are ready prior to the patient's appointments.
- Assists in preparing for patient appointments.
- Communicates to potential patients the benefits of the hearing practice.
- Handles first counters to competitive comments and claims by potential patients.
- Handles payments.
- Ensures a high-level of patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and PHI laws and regulations.
- Keeps the front office and waiting area clean and organized.
- Qualified to handle difficult situations with patients, visitors or vendors with a calm demeanor.
Required Education and Experience
- At least 1-year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified, specially with front desk responsibilities in a customer service oriented environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office)
- Ability to type at a reasonable WPM (above 50)
- Ability to remain stationary for long periods of time (sitting and/or standing).
- Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
