Position Overview
We are seeking a fully licensed Psychotherapist to join our growing outpatient clinical team. This role involves providing psychotherapy services to adults and adolescents in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Candidates must hold an active, full clinical license in the State of Texas — LPC, LCSW or equivalent.
The Psychotherapist will work closely with psychiatric providers and administrative staff to ensure coordinated, ethical, and patient-centered care. This is a fully remote position. Clinicians must maintain a private, secure, and HIPAA-compliant home workspace and be licensed to practice in the State of Texas.
Duties
- Provide individual psychotherapy, and when appropriate, family or group therapy, using evidence-based treatment approaches
- Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and other members of the care team
- Adhere strictly to confidentiality requirements under HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2
- Maintain professional boundaries with patients at all times
- Participate in required staff meetings, trainings, and professional development activities
- Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, families (when appropriate), and colleagues
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated competence in substance use treatment and co-occurring disorders
- Experience delivering trauma-informed therapies
- Active, full clinical license in the State of Texas (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent); associate-level licenses will not be considered
- Experience providing psychotherapy in an outpatient setting
- Strong understanding of ethical standards and professional boundaries
- Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities
- Comfort working in a hybrid clinical environment
- Ability to manage a consistent caseload with accountability and follow-through
Preferred Qualifications
- CBT-I (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia) certification or formal training
- Experience working with substance use disorders or co-occurring conditions
- Experience collaborating within a multidisciplinary treatment team
