Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Psychologist or Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our dynamic behavioral health team. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including psychological testing and diagnostic evaluations to determine mental health needs.
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychotherapy, and trauma-informed approaches.
- Manage crisis situations effectively through immediate intervention and safety planning, especially in hospital or inpatient environments.
- Develop tailored treatment plans aligned with each patient’s unique circumstances, including working with children with autism or disabilities, geriatrics, pediatrics, and patients experiencing PTSD or addiction issues.
- Document all patient interactions accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain detailed medical records of intake, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, educators, social workers, and families to coordinate comprehensive care strategies.
- Supervise clinical staff or interns when applicable, fostering a supportive environment for professional growth and quality patient care.
Requirements
- Valid licensure as a Clinical Psychologist or Clinical Social Worker in the respective state.
- Experience in a MAT environment with the ability to implement a program.
- Proven experience working with diverse populations such as children, adolescents, adults, or seniors in settings like hospitals, schools, outpatient clinics, or telehealth platforms.
- Strong knowledge of behavioral health disorders including PTSD, addiction, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and mental health conditions requiring diagnostic evaluation.
- Proficiency in evidence-based therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral health interventions, and group therapy techniques.
- Experience conducting psychological testing and assessments for diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Ability to handle crisis situations swiftly while maintaining professionalism and compassion.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical records management to ensure patient confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient care coordination and documentation.
- Supervisory experience is preferred but not mandatory; a commitment to ongoing research and professional development is highly valued. Pay: $20,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
