The Department of Veterans Affairs Healthcare System is seeking a full-time Staff Psychologist (Primary Care- Mental Health Integration) for the Va Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Monroe, LA.  The Staff Psychologist primary assignment to the Primary Care- Mental Health Integration (PC-MHI) program, located within primary care. The co-located, collaborative care (CCC) behavioral health provider functions as part of multidisciplinary primary care teams, and delivers brief, consultation-based services to Veterans, primary care providers, and allied Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) members. Duties include but are not limited to:   The CCC PC-MHI psychologist provides functional assessment, triage, brief intervention, education and consultative services regarding a wide range of mental health and behavioral medicine concerns, on referral from primary care providers and allied PACT members. Uses time-limited, evidence-based interventions that are simple and concrete. Participates in Psychology privileging, educational and peer review activities, in accord with Psychology and medical center policies.     Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm - subject to change based upon the needs of the facility.   Telework: Available.   Qualifications: Must be a U.S. Citizen (*will consider non- citizen candidates*) Full and unrestricted license from any U.S. State Doctoral degree in psychology from a graduate program in psychology accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA), the Psychological Clinical Science Accreditation System (PCSAS), or the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) Completed a professional psychology internship training program that was accredited by APA or CPA Experience working within a Primary Care Mental Health Integration (PCMHI) team (Preferred) Must be highly motivated, team-oriented, and committed to the care and good health of our Veterans.   We offer: Likely starting base salary range: $74,678 — $138,370 Recruitment Incentive (Sign-on Bonus): Not Authorized.
