Job Description
The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) serves as the clinical leader and supervisor for social work services delivered within the Kaleida school-based health centers (SBHC). This individual provides direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and crisis intervention services to students and families and supervises clinical social workers across school sites. The LCSW ensures services align with school and public health priorities while fostering a trauma-informed, youth-centered approach.
Education And Credentials
Masters Social Work required. Clinical Social Worker (LCSWR) required upon hire. NYS Driver's License upon hire required.
Experience
5 years of experience in clinical experience with youth and families required. 3 years of experience working in a supervisory capacity required. Experience working in or in collaboration with schools, school-based health centers, or youth-serving organizations. required. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. Experience with trauma-informed care and restorative practices in school settings preferred. Familiarity with educational laws related to student welfare and mental health (e.g., IEPs, 504 plans) preferred.
