Part-Time Genetic Counselor Assistant
Maternal Fetal Medicine Practice – Riverside/San Bernardino, CA Area

A busy Maternal Fetal Medicine practice is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented part-time Genetic Counselor Assistant to support two genetic counselors in a fast-paced prenatal clinical setting.

Position Responsibilities:

• Track patients and genetic testing results
• Communicate normal test results to patients
• Notify genetic counselors of abnormal results requiring follow-up
• Coordinate and follow up on referrals
• Assist with reports and invoicing for the Genetic Disease Screening Program
• Provide general administrative support to the genetic counseling team

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology or a related field preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
• Ability to work independently and maintain attention to detail in a busy clinical environment
• Prior healthcare or genetics experience preferred, but not required
• Spanish-speaking skills are a plus, but not required

Schedule:

• Part-time position
• Flexible hours available following completion of training
