Central Community Services is seeking an experienced NC Certified Peer Support Specialists to join our treatment team.
Services are provided to adults with mental health and/or substance abuse disorders in Franklin, Granville, Vance, and Warren counties.
Interventions include advocacy, instruction of illness management and recovery skills, assistance with housing and employment efforts, instruction of independent living and social skills, crisis prevention, supportive counseling, linkage and help to access community services, and community integration. Most interventions are provided within the consumer's home or community.
Hourly wage is $19-$24 per hour.
Preferred candidates must:
possess at least a high school diploma, have at least one year of related work experience, have a current NC PSS certification, be committed to best and ethical practices, have good written and oral communication skills (familiarity with EHR is helpful), work well independently and within a team, and have reliable transportation.
