Our programs offer residential drug treatment (30, 60, 90 days) at two sites for women and their young children. The programs provide support in parenting, independent living skills, and positive communication skills.

POSITION OVERVIEW
A Residential Counselor is responsible for the daily supervision of clients and their children, as well as the implementation of the residential program routine and guidelines.
Schedule:
- On call
- Weekends as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be certified in AOD counseling with CAADE, CCAPP, or CADTP.
- 1-2 years of experience working for a social service or recovery program (highly preferred).
- Must possess or be able to obtain current CPR and First-Aid certificates.
- Must meet agency conditions for employment including requirements for Child Abuse and Fingerprinting clearances.
- Valid California Driver's License and a good driving record for local travel only.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Understands and practices the philosophies of trauma-informed care.
- Facilitate treatment groups/classes, including evidence based practices.
- Maintain client confidentiality in all circumstances as required by professional ethics and legal requirements.
- Demonstrate and maintain appropriate boundaries with clients and other staff.
- Maintain on-going communication with staff through documentation and complete all records and reports assigned.
- Drive agency vehicles and transport clients for recreational, educational, medical, cultural, and spiritual outings.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers, clients and personnel associated with outside agencies.
- Perform effectively and professionally under pressure.
- Reads and interprets written information such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Acknowledge safety policies and procedures and immediately report potentially unsafe conditions.
- Supports and implements the Epiphany Center mission and values.

Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
