RBT Applied Behavior Analysis Therapist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement behavior intervention plans and support their growth and development. Duties

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Use applied behavior analysis techniques to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors in children and individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Collect, record, and analyze data on client progress to ensure effective treatment adjustments.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and other self-care skills.
• Support clients during teaching sessions, facilitating learning through structured activities and reinforcement strategies.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral health records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with team members, families, and caregivers to ensure consistency in behavioral interventions and support strategies.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and ethical guidelines related to patient care, medical terminology, and behavior management.

Experience

• Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates.
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and behavioral therapy techniques is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with data collection methods and maintaining detailed medical records is beneficial.
• Experience assisting with ADLs or providing patient care in a healthcare or educational setting is a plus.
• Strong communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Ability to follow detailed care plans and documentation procedures accurately while maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards.
