Duties
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support clients’ developmental goals.
- Collect and record accurate data on client behaviors, progress, and responses during therapy sessions to inform ongoing treatment plans.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, toileting, and other self-care tasks to promote independence.
- Use positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques to encourage desired behaviors.
- Collaborate closely with team members, families, and caregivers to ensure consistency in therapy approaches and share progress updates.
- Maintain confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA regulations and securely managing medical records and documentation.
- Participate in ongoing training on medical terminology, special education principles, and behavioral health best practices to enhance your skills.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required; we provide comprehensive training for all new team members.
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and behavioral therapy principles is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills, patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to teach and support others are essential for success in this role.
- Familiarity with medical documentation, medical terminology, and maintaining accurate medical records will help ensure compliance with healthcare standards.

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
