Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality therapeutic services to individuals, families, and groups, focusing on mental health and emotional well-being. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions. The Therapist will work in a collaborative environment, contributing to the overall mission of enhancing the quality of life for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine mental health needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and ongoing assessments.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed to clients in distress.
- Implement various therapeutic modalities including behavioral therapy and child family counseling.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ICD-10 coding standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within a clinic or hospital setting to ensure holistic care for patients.
- Work with individuals with developmental disabilities, tailoring approaches to meet their unique needs.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices in psychopharmacology and therapy techniques.
Experience
- A Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required.
- Prior experience in a clinical setting is preferred, particularly with crisis intervention and behavioral therapy.
- Familiarity with patient assessment tools and techniques is essential.
- Experience working with children and families is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of psychopharmacology principles is a plus.
- Understanding of ICD-10 coding and HIPAA compliance is necessary for maintaining patient confidentiality and accurate recordkeeping.
