Overview
Join our dynamic K-12 Day Treatment Program as a Therapist (LMSW/LCSW/LMHC) and become a vital part of transforming the lives of children and adolescents facing mental health challenges. Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate mental health status, behavioral patterns, and developmental needs of students.
  • Provide individual and group psychotherapy sessions utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing,
  • Implement crisis intervention strategies and manage crisis situations effectively to ensure student safety.
  • Collaborate with school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans aligned with each student’s unique needs.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and incident reports in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Engage in case management activities such as coordination of services, progress tracking, and data collection to monitor student outcomes.
  • Facilitate conflict management and behavior management strategies to promote positive classroom behaviors and social interactions.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of crisis management techniques applicable to youth populations.
  • Experience working with children with psychiatric disorders and trauma histories.
  • Proficiency in conducting diagnostic evaluations, patient care assessments, and psychotherapy tailored for school-aged children.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards for confidentiality.
  • Skilled in delivering individual and group therapy using evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
  • Exceptional communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and healthcare providers to support student success.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while demonstrating empathy, patience, and professionalism in high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent organization skills and ability to maintain timely and accurate documentation
