- Perform biopsychosocial evaluations using expert knowledge of clinical psychology.
- Provide evidenced-based individual treatment and group therapy for patients.
- Provide intervention for individuals with mental health conditions to include assessment and disposition of beneficiaries with acute and chronic risk.
- Educate clinic staff on the principles of mental health via trainings and briefings.
- Document information in the electronic health record during patient encounters.
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is subject to annual vaccination or must provide a recognized exemption.
- Applicants must be able to fulfill credentialing requirements and obtain and maintain appropriate/relevant clinical privileges.
- This position requires Basic Life Support training certification from the American Heart Association or Military Training Network within 30 days of employment.
- This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position.
- A Personnel Security Investigation is required.
- This position requires regular contact with children under the age 18 and a favorable determination of suitability to do so.
- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959 must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
