We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a school-based position for the 2026–2027 school year in Pescadero, CA 94060. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with students and educational teams to support behavioral and academic success in a collaborative school environment.

Position: School-Based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Location: Pescadero, CA 94060
School Year: 2026–2027

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one behavioral support to students in classroom and school settings
  • Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) designed by the supervising BCBA
  • Collect and maintain accurate behavioral data and session notes
  • Support students with communication, social, and daily living skills
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, therapists, and parents
  • Assist in creating a positive and supportive learning environment
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required

Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Previous experience working with children in school or behavioral settings preferred
  • Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
