Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide clinical oversight and supervision for psychiatric research studies, ensuring participant safety and protocol adherence.
- Review psychiatric assessments, lab results, and adverse events to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Collaborate with study monitors, sponsors, and team members to facilitate smooth study operations.
- Support recruitment and screening processes for study participants, ensuring eligibility and ethical standards.
- Mentor Sub-Investigators and clinical research staff, fostering professional growth and study excellence.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and ethical guidelines throughout the study lifecycle.
- Provide occasional weekend or after-hours coverage as required to meet study demands.
Job Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) with specialization in Psychiatry, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical practice experience; clinical research experience is advantageous.
- Current physician license in Ohio is required.
- Strong clinical insight and attention to detail in psychiatric evaluations and research documentation.
- Effective leadership and organizational skills in a collaborative research environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and research software tools is essential.
