Step into a rewarding part-time position as a School Psychologist supporting students and educators for the 2026/2027 school year. This flexible, contract opportunity near Harwood Heights, IL, allows you to truly own your work—operating independently while making a positive difference in student development and well-being.

You’ll play a pivotal role in conducting assessments, evaluations, and supporting individualized educational plans, all while enjoying a schedule that fits into roughly 20 hours over 2½ days per week. With autonomy over your caseload, you’ll collaborate across teams yet have the space to manage your day effectively.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience in administering psychological and educational evaluations
  • Ability to work independently, managing your own desk and priority tasks
  • Strong communication skills to support collaboration with educators, students, and families
  • Previous school-based experience preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students’ academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Interpret assessment results and provide clear recommendations
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create and implement effective intervention strategies
  • Participate in eligibility determination for special education services
  • Offer consultative support to parents and educators
