School Social Worker

Location: La Grange, IL area

Term: 2026/2027 Full School Year

Status: Full-Time Contract (37.5 Hours/Week)

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed School Social Worker for a full-year contract assignment.

As a contract professional in this program, you will work in a supportive, resource-rich environment designed to assist students in overcoming social, emotional, and behavioral barriers. You will play a critical role in fostering a positive school climate and providing the necessary interventions to help students succeed both personally and academically.

Key Position Details

  • Employment Type: W2 Contract

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7.5 working hours/day

  • Caseload: K-12 students (General and Special Education populations)

  • Compensation: Competitive hourly pay based on experience

Requirements

To be considered for this contract position, candidates MUST possess:

  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Worker (SSW) endorsement.

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

  • Previous experience or a strong clinical interest in providing individual/group counseling and crisis intervention for elementary-age students.

Candidates who are not fully licensed or who will not be licensed before the beginning of the 26-27 school year will NOT be considered.
