Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Clinical Nurse Specialist to provide comprehensive mental health care in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will hold an active APRN license and have strong experience in psychiatric evaluations, psychopharmacology, crisis management, and integrated care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct psychiatric and mental health care in person or via videoconferencing, depending on clinical needs.
- Conduct comprehensive mental health and psychopharmacological assessments.
- Formulate mental health diagnoses and determine appropriate psychotropic medication treatment.
- Perform psychiatric evaluations to assess diagnosis and medication needs.
- Prescribe psychotropic medications in accordance with applicable clinical guidelines.
- Order, interpret, and analyze laboratory tests and diagnostic reports.
- Collaborate closely with medical services staff to ensure coordinated, integrated patient care.
- Document all clinical encounters, assessments, and medication management activities in the electronic health record following organizational protocols.
- Manage a designated caseload and participate in treatment planning and interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Provide clinical guidance, supervision, and consultation to registered nurses and mental health staff.
- Receive ongoing clinical supervision from the collaborating physician.
- Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities to support program and clinical excellence.
- Maintain required clinical competencies, certifications, and continuing education.

Pay: Up to $92.00 per hour
