About Us

Positive Recovery Services is an outpatient substance abuse treatment facility located in Germantown, Maryland. We are dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to individuals struggling with substance use disorders. We are currently seeking an experienced, empathetic, and fully licensed Clinical Supervisor to lead our counseling team and oversee direct clinical services.

Position Overview

As a Clinic Supervisor, you will balance administrative clinical oversight with direct client care. You will ensure the delivery of high-quality individual and group counseling services—primarily via Telehealth—while providing essential clinical supervision to staff.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Supervision: Oversee clinical staff, review diagnostic formulations, and guide the development of individualized Treatment Plans.

Intake & Evaluation: Perform admission intake functions, interview applicants, and collaborate with referring professionals to assess patients' physical, psychological, social, and vocational status.

Direct Care: Provide direct clinical treatment using individual, group, family, and couples therapy sessions.

Program Support: Assist in planning, organizing, and conducting educational and orientation groups for addictions treatment.

Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all patient records, initial assessments, progress notes, and discharge reports are meticulously documented in accordance with program policies.

Regulatory Oversight: Participate in staff conferences, utilization reviews, and strictly observe all Federal and State regulations governing patient confidentiality (HIPAA/42 CFR Part 2).

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following licensing criteria in the State of Maryland:

Mandatory: Active Substance Abuse Clinic Supervisor designation/license in Maryland.

Mandatory: Active Maryland Addiction Counseling License.

Preferred: LCPC (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor) or equivalent.
