Licensed Social Worker/LPC

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate mental health and behavioral support to diverse populations, including children, families, and adults. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health, behavioral issues, and social needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and their families
• Provide crisis intervention and crisis management to stabilize clients during emergencies
• Offer addiction counseling and support recovery efforts for substance use disorders
• Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to foster client engagement and motivation for change
• Supervise and mentor junior staff or interns, ensuring adherence to best practices and ethical standards
• Coordinate with external agencies such as Section 8, Medicare, Child Welfare, and other community resources
• Support clients with workforce development initiatives, including job readiness and life skills training
• Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions in compliance with confidentiality regulations
• Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and ongoing training sessions to enhance service quality

Requirements

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
• Proven experience in crisis intervention, behavioral health, addiction counseling, or related fields
• Strong skills in crisis management, social work practices, and motivational interviewing techniques
• Experience supervising staff or mentoring interns is preferred
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to ongoing professional development in social work or behavioral health fields
