Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health, behavioral issues, and social needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and their families
- Provide crisis intervention and crisis management to stabilize clients during emergencies
- Offer addiction counseling and support recovery efforts for substance use disorders
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to foster client engagement and motivation for change
- Supervise and mentor junior staff or interns, ensuring adherence to best practices and ethical standards
- Coordinate with external agencies such as Section 8, Medicare, Child Welfare, and other community resources
- Support clients with workforce development initiatives, including job readiness and life skills training
- Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions in compliance with confidentiality regulations
- Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and ongoing training sessions to enhance service quality
Requirements
- Valid licensure as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Proven experience in crisis intervention, behavioral health, addiction counseling, or related fields
- Strong skills in crisis management, social work practices, and motivational interviewing techniques
- Experience supervising staff or mentoring interns is preferred
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to ongoing professional development in social work or behavioral health fields
