Join our dynamic team as an Experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with a limited permit, where you will play a vital role in supporting children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. Duties

• Assist in implementing behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles under supervision
• Collect and record accurate data on client behaviors, progress, and responses to interventions
• Support clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, and hygiene routines
• Help facilitate structured teaching sessions tailored to each individual’s needs in special education settings
• Maintain confidentiality of client information in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards
• Collaborate with team members to develop and update care plans and behavioral strategies
• Observe client behaviors closely, providing real-time feedback to supervisors for ongoing treatment adjustments

Skills

• Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and behavior management strategies
• Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and data collection methods
• Ability to assist with ADLs and support patient-centered care approaches
• Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards
• Effective teaching skills combined with patience and empathy when working with diverse populations
• Excellent communication skills for documenting progress and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams
