Licensed Master Social Worker

Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to provide in-person therapy services to elderly residents in a care facility. The clinician will conduct room visits with residents, offering emotional support, mental health counseling, and therapeutic interventions to improve quality of life and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual therapy to elderly residents within the facility through in-room visits

• Assess residents’ mental health needs and develop appropriate treatment plans

• Provide emotional support and counseling for issues such as depression, anxiety, grief, adjustment, and loneliness

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

• Collaborate with facility staff and interdisciplinary teams when appropriate

• Monitor residents’ progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

Qualifications:

• Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in good standing (required)

• Experience working with geriatric or elderly populations preferred

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and manage visits within a facility setting

• Asian -speaking preferred to better serve residents
