Duties

  • Oversee the clinical operations of the department, ensuring adherence to established protocols and standards.
  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations and patient assessments to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide direct behavioral therapy and support to patients, utilizing evidence-based practices.
  • Supervise and mentor clinical staff, fostering professional development and adherence to ethical guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all patient interactions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.
  • Monitor treatment progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans based on patient needs.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies related to behavioral health services.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., psychology, social work, or counseling).
  • Valid licensure or certification in behavioral health or related discipline.
  • Proven experience in diagnostic evaluation, patient assessment, and applied behavior analysis.
  • Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and interventions.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while demonstrating leadership capabilities.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining medical records.
