At Butterfly Evolutions, Registered Behavior Technicians help children develop meaningful skills so they can participate more fully in their homes, schools, and communities. Our Registered Behavior Technicians work directly with children and families to support communication, independence, emotional regulation, and everyday success.

The person in this role will help children learn, grow, and experience success in their natural environments, while supporting families and helping them feel confident in their child’s progress. This work matters; the progress made during a therapy session today can shape a child’s opportunities for years to come.

In this role you will:

  • Help children develop communication, social, and daily living skills that increase independence
  • Create engaging learning experiences through play, natural interactions, and structured teaching
  • Support families by modeling strategies that promote progress outside of therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with BCBAs to adjust strategies based on data and client progress
  • Contribute to a therapy environment where children feel safe, encouraged, and motivated to learn
  • Develop your professional skills through ongoing coaching, supervision, and training
  • You will leave each session knowing you helped a child make progress that matters.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Enjoys working directly with children and families
  • Is reliable, organized, and follows through on commitments
  • Is coachable and open to feedback
  • Enjoys problem solving and adapting strategies to help children succeed
  • Values teamwork and collaboration
  • Takes pride in doing meaningful work well
  • Experience is valuable, but mindset, reliability, and compassion matter more.
  • Values the opportunity to grow with a clinician owned practice

Many excellent RBTs come from backgrounds such as:

  • Education
  • Psychology
  • Childcare or camp counseling
  • Special education support roles
  • Behavioral health
  • Youth mentorship programs
  • Hospitality

At Butterfly Evolutions, we believe great ABA services come from strong relationships and thoughtful support. Our team values:

  • Compassionate Care: We prioritize dignity, respect, and individualized support for every child.
  • Growth Mindset: We view mistakes as opportunities to learn and improve.
  • Family Partnership: Parents and caregivers are essential members of the therapy team.
  • Consistency & Reliability: Children make progress when the adults supporting them show up prepared and committed.
  • Collaboration: We work closely with families, schools, and other professionals to support each child.

Many ABA companies focus only on caseloads and productivity. Our goal is to build a small, supportive clinical team where technicians feel coached, supported, and respected.

You can expect:

  • Direct support from a BCBA who prioritizes mentorship
  • A collaborative team environment where your input matters
  • Opportunities for professional growth within the company
  • A culture focused on quality services rather than volume

This is a great environment for individuals interested in growing within the field of behavior analysis.
