Make an impact on students’ lives on the Southeast Florida Coast by providing essential psychological services within a dynamic school community. This contract opportunity offers the chance to collaborate with dedicated education teams across three campuses serving Pre-K through 8th grade students. The assignment is full-time, with a schedule of 35 hours per week, working on-site from August through early June.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Florida Department of Health Psychologist Licensure is required
  • Experienced in conducting assessments, providing counseling, and writing comprehensive reports
  • Familiarity with holding and contributing to meetings involving educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Up-to-date or readily obtainable fingerprint clearance (possible use of current DOH prints)
  • Prior experience in a school setting highly preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple campuses and manage responsibilities for a diverse age range

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver psychological testing and psychoeducational assessments for students ranging from Pre-K to grade 8
  • Provide individual and group counseling for students with a variety of needs
  • Participate in team meetings, eligibility determinations, and intervention planning
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to implement effective student support strategies
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and legal guidelines
  • Engage actively across three assigned campuses to ensure comprehensive student care
