This full-time assignment spans the entire 2026-2027 school year, running from August 11, 2026, through May 30, 2027. You’ll serve a caseload of approximately 20-30 students, collaborating closely with teachers, administrators, and families to provide comprehensive support.
Qualifications
- Active School Social Work (SSW) credential
- Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Previous experience serving elementary or early childhood students preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage diverse needs and maintain documentation
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver social-emotional interventions and counseling for Pre-K and K-3 students
- Develop individualized plans and monitor student progress
- Work in tandem with teachers, families, and outside providers to meet student needs
- Serve as an advocate and resource for children and their families
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive school climate
