Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician

Location: Gillette, WY

Compensation: $ $24.00 - $30.80 + on-call pay and cell phone reimbursement

Visionary Broadband seeks a qualified individual to fill the role of Facilities Maintenance Technician. This full-time position will join the team at Visionary Broadband, one of the top internet service providers in the Rocky Mountain region.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Represent Visionary Broadband in a professional manner while making repairs and upgrades on Visionary building sites. Visionary has multiple locations across Wyoming and Colorado. Coordinate vendors and contractors to complete facility work where needed. Quality review of work prior to payment of contractor/vendor.Conduct facility checks to identify any building, equipment or safety related issues.Possess integrity and a dedication to results, must be self-driven and have good problem-solving skills.Maintain professional behavior and proper communication with internal and external contacts, including company and branch employees, managers, and outside vendors.Interact with customers, landowners and supervision over the phone and in personClimb tower sites and Install equipmentAssembling electronic equipment in racks/cabinets, plumbing all RF, wiringTelecom Installation of RF/ground/power/telecommunications cabling.Completion of client and company checklists, photos, and test results typically communicated to management (emails, uploads to FTP, Web Interface, etc.)Maintain network documentation with a very high level of accuracyCompleting work that is assigned while on 24-hour “on call” duty to resolve any tower-related or customer issues

Qualifications:

A qualified candidate must possess the following skills, or have equivalent experience and/or qualifications:

Good communication skills, both verbal and writtenMust have a valid driver license and be insurable to drive a company vehicleMust be able handle and climb a ladderMust be willing to travel within the region 30-40% of the timeOther duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

Work at Tower heights for duration of day.Lift and carry up to and above 75 pounds.Utilize fine motor coordination, clear speech, and good visual acuity.Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterityContinually required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawlExposure to moving mechanical partsExposure to high, precarious placesExposure to outside weather conditions
